The school administrators will hold the pre-board written exam for classes 10 and 12 and the annual examination for grades 9 and 11 at the school level from January 13 and January 22, 2024.
The announcement states that in order to maintain the integrity of the tests and facilitate a seamless testing process, principals are required to oversee practical exams that are monitored by CCTV. The recordings will be securely stored on a DVR by the Principal, who will be obligated to give them to the Council’s regional office on demand.
The number of candidates registering for the UP Board exams has clearly decreased this year. A total of 55,08,206 students have enrolled for the 2024 exam. According to reports, 58, 86, 634 pupils have enrolled for the 2023 board examinations.
UPMSP officials claim that the stringent tests and anti-copying policies put in place by the board are mostly to blame for the 3,76,428 decrease in the number of students enrolled for the final examinations. Last year, the UP government imposed many harsh penalty guidelines for anybody caught cheating.
