Haripriyaa Bharggav unveils SSS Bharat initiative for cultural awareness, self-reliance and youth engagement

New Delhi [India], July 11:  Noted entrepreneur, philanthropist and social leader Haripriyaa Bharggav has unveiled SSS Bharat, an initiative aimed at promoting cultural awareness, youth engagement, self-reliance and social harmony through the principles of Sanatan thought and India’s civilisational values.

The initiative is built around the three pillars of Samruddha Bharat (an economically self-reliant India), Samarth Bharat (an empowered and capable India) and Sanskrutik Bharat (a culturally rooted India). According to Bharggav, the objective is to encourage citizens, particularly young people, to develop a deeper understanding of India’s heritage while contributing to the country’s social and economic progress.

Bharggav, who serves as Chairperson of Sanatan Sanskrutik Sangh, said the initiative seeks to increase awareness of India’s traditional knowledge systems, cultural identity and collective responsibilities in a rapidly changing world.

She noted that while technological advancement and globalisation have created new opportunities, they have also highlighted the importance of preserving cultural awareness and historical understanding among younger generations.

“India possesses a rich civilisational heritage that has evolved over thousands of years. Our objective is to help people understand that legacy, appreciate its relevance and apply its principles in contemporary life. Development and cultural awareness are not contradictory, but can complement each other and contribute to a stronger society,” Haripriya Bharggav said.

The initiative also aims to promote self-reliance, responsible economic practices, environmental awareness and a balanced approach to development that combines material progress with social responsibility and cultural understanding.

A key focus area will be youth engagement. According to Haripriya Bharggav, it is important to encourage young people to explore India’s intellectual, cultural and philosophical traditions alongside modern education and professional aspirations.

“Every generation has a responsibility to pass on knowledge and wisdom to the next. We believe young people should have access to a deeper understanding of India’s traditions and intellectual heritage so they can make informed choices about their future while remaining connected to their cultural identity,” she said.

Environmental awareness is another important component of the initiative. Drawing inspiration from traditional Indian philosophies that emphasise harmony with nature, SSS Bharat seeks to encourage responsible use of natural resources and greater understanding of ecological balance.

The initiative plans to engage people from diverse professional, social and regional backgrounds through platforms that encourage dialogue, learning and constructive participation in issues of national importance.

“The future of any nation depends not only on economic growth but also on preserving its cultural foundations and encouraging responsible citizenship. Through SSS Bharat, we hope to inspire greater awareness, participation and a shared sense of responsibility towards nation-building,” she added.

Haripriya Bharggav urged people from all walks of life to join the initiative and contribute towards the vision of a Samruddha Bharat, Samarth Bharat and Sanskrutik Bharat through active participation, awareness and responsible citizenship.

SSS Bharat is expected to undertake educational programmes, awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives focused on cultural understanding, social harmony and youth engagement.
