WEICI India Honours Women Achievers and Their Contributions at Global Naari Samman Award 3.0
New Delhi (India), March 27: Recently, The Women Entrepreneurs International Chambers of India (WEICI INDIA) honoured forty dynamic personalities with the ‘Global Naari Samman.’ On 7th March 2024, the organisation hosted the ‘Global Naari Samman Award 3.0’ at the well-known Press Club of Mumbai, felicitating the spirit of International Women’s Day.
The non-governmental organisation, WEICI India, recognised outstanding women and their contributions that prompted a ripple of positive change across all levels of society. Keeping in mind the spirit of International Women’s Day, usually celebrated on March 8th, WEICI presents ‘Naari Samman Award’ to recipients who have left indelible marks in the field of sports, technology, science, non-traditional sectors, health, and more
Founded by Dr. Mamta Ajit Singh in November 2020, the organisation celebrates women and their accomplishments across diverse industries and sectors. She emphatically states, ”WEICI INDIA is very proud that we can recognize these young female talents in varied industry and make their personalities visible. They are strong role models for all young women keen on a future career in business & entrepreneurship and face the challenges of society with a clear view. Besides acknowledging and appreciating most women’s struggles, ‘The Global Naari Samman Awards’ has emerged as an entity that aims to drive change by empowering women entrepreneurs. The organisers have hand-picked awardees from various industries and communities, including the marginalised and the backward sections.
In this award ceremony, the Women Achiever Award went to the one who showcased extraordinary talent, determination, and passion in their field of work. Furthermore, the event was blessed by the gracious presence of reputed guests like Deepa Narayan Jha, a multifaceted personality known for her music, acting, and production, along with Fatema Agarkar, the visionary founder of Agarkar Centre of Excellence, and Sumita Suman Singh, a prominent BJP spokesperson.
