The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC) NET 2023 for the June exam on 6 July. As the provisional answer key is out, candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key can now raise objections from NTA official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The last date to raise objections is 8 July till 11:50 pm. In order to challenge the answer key, candidates need to pay a fee of 200/- per question challenged as a nonrefundable processing fee. 

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. 

If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. 

Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge, NTA said in its notification.

Meanwhile, the results of UGC NET 2023 aims to announce the final results in the second week of August.

Here’s how to challenge Answer Key(s) for UGC NET June 2023

-Visit NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in

-Now, click on ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’

-Login with the requied credetials.

-Click on “View Question Paper” for marked responses while to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”. 

-Pay the fees for the question to be challenged. 

The UGC NET June 2023 Phase – I exams were conducted from 13-17 June while Phase II exams were conducted from 19-22 June 2023. 

The exams were conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the question papers included multiple-choice questions. UGC-NET is being conducted by the NTA in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode since December 2018 onwards. UGC NET exams are held twice a year, one in December and other in June. UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.
