Summer special trains between Mumbai-Kanpur, Pune-Virangana Lakshmibai announced
The Central Railway on Wednesday announced it will run 26 weekly special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kanpur, and 26 weekly summer special trains between Pune and Virangna Lakshmibai junction to clear the extra rush of passengers.
A spokesperson of the Central Railway said that Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Kanpur Superfast special will make 26 trips.
04152 special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.15 hours every Saturday from April 8 to July 1 and arrive Kanpur Central at 15.25 hours next day.

04151 special train will leave Kanpur Central at 15.45 hours every Friday from April 7 to June 30 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.55 hours next day.
The trains, the spokesperson said, will halt at Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj and Fatehpur.
The special trains will carry one AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier, 8 sleeper class and 7 general second class vans including 2 luggage cum guard’s brake
The spokesperson said that Pune to Virangna Lakshmibai junction special train will make 26 trips.
01921 special train will leave Pune at 15.15 hours on every Thursday from April 6 to June 29 and will arrive Virangana Lakshmibai junction at 09.35 hours next day.
01922 special train will leave Virangana Lakshmibai junction at 12.50 hours on every Wednesday from April 5 to June 28and will arrive Pune at 11.35 hours next day.
The train will halt at Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Narmadapuram, Bhopal, Vidisha, Bina and Lalitpur.
It will carry one AC 2-Tier, 5 AC 3-Tier, 5 sleeper class, 6 general second class vans including 2 luggage cum guard’s brake vans
The spokesperson said that the bookings for special trains 04152 and 01921 on special charges will open on February 17 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
