Rakshak join hand with Haldia Petrochemicals to empowering rural women in Haldia training Jute products
New Delhi (India), March 16: The successful closing ceremony after the training was held on International Women’s Day, marked a momentous occasion as women artisans showcased their talents displaying their creations and determination in overcoming obstacles to participate in the training program.
The ceremony, graced by Sri Sanjay Bhatnagar, Vice President & Plant Head, Haldia Petrochemical Limited as the Chief Guest along with local dignitaries & Srimati Divyani Garg of Mahishadal (Palace) Rajbari.
The dignitaries were received with traditional Chandan tilak, Uttorio , flower bouquet and jute bags by the women trainees.
The Guests were captivated by the display of diverse jute products crafted by the trainees.
Certificates were distributed by Mrs Bhatnagar, Mrs Divyani Garg of Rajbari along with dignitaries.
The training program, conducted at the heritage venue at Mahishadal Rajbari, Rakshak Foundation and Haldia Petrochemical Limited reaffirm their commitment to fostering gender equality, inclusiveness and empowering women through skill development initiatives.
