Not Just Admit Card, Bihar Board Students Should Bring These Documents For Entry In Exam Hall
The intermediate annual examination for 2024 is scheduled into two shifts.
The new policy mandates that students must display their photo ID proof to enter the exam hall.
The Bihar Board has unveiled the schedule for the 10th and 12th-grade exams in 2024. They have also introduced a novel approach to combat fraudulent candidates. Previously, admission to the exam centre relied solely on presenting the admit card. The new policy mandates that students must display their Aadhar card or any other photo ID, in addition to the admit card for entry into the exam hall. Anand Kishore, the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Committee, emphasised that these measures are implemented to ensure a cheat-free exam environment and enhance students’ convenience.
The board is implementing several reforms to eliminate examination malpractice. Previously, entry relied solely on the admit card, but this led to several fraudulent cases. A new measure involves matching the photo on the answer sheet with the photo on the identity card for added security.
The board has introduced additional security measures, including printing the candidate’s photograph on both the answer sheet and the attendance sheet. For the 2024 board exams, roll number and roll code will be prominently displayed on every bench to facilitate smooth seating for students, without any inconvenience.
