NEET UG 2023 Result Live Updates: NTA declares results, check toppers list
NEET UG 2023 result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 this week. Students can access the NEET UG results, scorecards, cut-off marks, and toppers’ list on the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET-UG, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses, serves as the qualifying entrance exam for various medical and healthcare programs. These programs include Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and BSc (H) Nursing courses.
The examination was conducted on May 7, 2023, and the answer key was released on June 4, 2023. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections until June 6, 2023. The answer key PDF can be found on the official website, along with the NEET UG 2023 response sheet.
This year, due to the prevailing violence in Manipur, the NTA had to conduct the medical entrance exam separately in the state. While the NEET UG 2023 exam took place in India and other centres on May 7 with 97.7 percent attendance, around 8,700 candidates from Manipur appeared for the exam on June 6.
The NEET-UG has witnessed a significant surge in registrations this year. The exam has received an all-time high of 20.87 lakh registrations, surpassing last year’s numbers by over 2.57 lakh. Among the registered candidates, 12 lakh are female candidates,
Along with the NEET result, the NTA will also announce the names of all India toppers and category-wise cut-off marks and percentile ranks. The scorecards will include subject-wise marks, all India ranks, and other relevant information.

NEET UG results 2023: No provision for re-checking/re-evaluation
There is no provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. This is because of the following reasons:
i. The OMRs are machine gradable and are being evaluated through specific software impartial to all.
ii. The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt.
