Nda: People have made up mind to give NDA another term: PM Modi | India News
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday responded to the efforts of opposition parties to forge an anti-BJP front by asserting that people have decided to give the BJP-led NDA a third term at the Centre, and that the alliance’s vote share would cross 50% in next year’s Lok Sabha polls.
“People have already made up their mind,” Modi said while addressing a meeting of 38 parties held here to mark the 25th anniversary of the NDA. He added that inNDA, “N” meant new India, “D” meant developed nation and “A” meant aspirations of people and regions.
He made the same assertion, an echo of the winning“aayega to Modi hi” plank of 2019, in the morning while virtually inaugurating the new integrated terminal building of the airport at Port Blair named after Veer Savarkar. Coming on the day when 26 opposition parties launched the “INDIA” alliance, the claim also appeared to drive home the perception about BJP being the favourite for next year’selection. The two speeches saw Modi launching a blistering attack on the constituents of the opposition combine.
