Ingredients:

To prepare the delight, you need these ingredients – 3 Cups of Button Mushrooms, 1/4th Cup Maida Flour, 1/4th Cup Corn Flour, 1 tablespoon Chilli Powder, 1/2 Tablespoon of Garam Masala Powder, Boiled Potatoes, 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste, 1 Chopped Onion, Salt as per your taste and Refined Oil.

Preparation:

Step 1: Mix the maida and the corn flour by adding a little amount of water at a time and stir it well until the lumps get completely dissolved. Add roasted gram flour, some cumin seeds, maida flour, Red Chilli Powder, and asafoetida (Hing), and mix everything properly. Prepare a soft batter out of it and keep it aside.

Step 2: Cut the mushroom into two halves and wash it properly in lukewarm water.

Step 3: Take a pan, add chopped onion, and green chilli and saute them till it gets golden brown in colour.

Step 4: Add ginger garlic paste to the mixture and mix everything well.

Step 5: Add all the spices, that is, Black pepper, Turmeric, and Salt, and mix them properly till everything gets cooked.

Step 6: Cut the mushroom into thin pieces and add it to the pan. Mix everything well and allow it to cook for some time.

Step 7: Add some boiled mashed potatoes to the mixture and mix well with a strong hand and your Mushroom Mixture is ready.

Step 8: Make small balls of the Mushroom mixture and dip it into the batter which we prepared in the beginning.

Step 9: Heat the oil, and deep fry the coated mushroom balls until it gets golden brown in colour.

Step 10: Your Mushroom Bonda is ready! Serve it hot with Tomato Ketchup or Green Chutney.
