Mumbai: Residents cry foul in Vasai-Virar

The members of Amchi Gasskar Sanghatana, an organisation of villagers residing in Gass village, protested against the Vasai Virar City Municipal corporation and other authorities, alleging their inaction in resolving the persistent waterlogging issues in the Sun City Gass road.
Despite seeking help from local authorities, their demands have been ignored. In response to the authorities’ lack of action, the Sanghatana members on Saturday morning sat in the waterlogged area wearing black clothes as a form of protest. They have warned of a larger protest if the demands continue to be neglected.
