Mumbai records zero Covid-19 cases for second time this week

Mumbai reported zero Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, July 18; second time in a week, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) data.
The city recorded zero cases for the third time this month. Earlier, on July 17 and July 10, Mumbai had reported zero cases related to coronavirus infection.
The data further stated that no deaths were reported on Tuesday.
Presently, Mumbai has 18 active cases and 528 tests were conducted in the city in past 24 hours.
“Seven Covid beds are occupied in the city out of the total 4,385 beds,” said the BMC official.
“Mumbai`s recovery rate is 98.3 per cent and doubling rate is of 249,940 days,” added the official.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 11 new cases and 79 active cases.
No deaths were reported in Maharashtra on July 18.
