Mumbai: Mum of Bollywood actor’s bodyguard files FIR against society`s secretary
The 77-year-old mother of a Bollywood actor’s bodyguard has lodged an FIR against the secretary of a society where she resides. The woman has accused him of threatening her and spreading hate speech. She also leveled corruption allegations against the secretary. According to the complainant, the secretary has been verbally abusing her, calling her a “Naxalite”. The DN Nagar police have registered the FIR and initiated an investigation into the matter.
According to the police, the bodyguard’s mother was residing in an Andheri flat until recently, but was forced to relocate to Oshiwara due to the secretary’s harassment. A police officer stated that the woman served as the society’s chairman from 2016 to 2021. In 2016, the secretary assigned a contractor to repair the building at a cost of Rs 65 lakh. However, despite the contractor promising to complete the work within two years, it remained unfinished. The woman repeatedly questioned the secretary about the delay, but received unsatisfactory responses, leading to numerous arguments between them.

In 2021, the bodyguard’s mother resigned from her position as society’s chairman and relocated to a flat in Oshiwara. On September 24, at 11 am, the society held an Annual General Meeting (AGM). Prior to the meeting, the secretary threatened the bodyguard’s mother, vowing to confront her during the AGM and refusing to let her off easily. During the meeting, the secretary allegedly continued to abuse her and her husband, issuing further threats that caused her to leave prematurely. The police have registered an FIR against the secretary and are conducting an investigation into the matter.
