Through this recruitment drive, the Department of Food, Maharashtra aims to fill up a total of 345 vacancies in the organisation. Out of the total number of vacancies, 324 are for Supply Inspector (Group C) posts and 21 openings for High-Level Clerk (Group C) posts.

Maharashtra Food Inspector Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
The general category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 250, while SC and ST applicants need to pay Rs 150 for the same. However, Person with Disabilities (PWD) candidates have been exempted from the payment of the fee.
Maharashtra Food Inspector Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The minimum age requirement is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 43 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a degree from a Maharashtra government-recognised university, but a degree in “Food Technology or Food Science” will be given first preference. In addition, candidates must be fluent in Marathi.
Maharashtra Food Inspector Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a computer-based test (CBT) and interview round. Those who clear the CBT will be called for a personal round of interviews along with document verification. Those who are selected for the Food Supply Inspector will receive a salary of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. While those selected for High-Level Clerk positions will receive a monthly salary of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100.
