The KEA has established a new regulation that permits admit cards to be withheld from applicants who only wish to take NEET UG 2024 in KCET 2024
The admit card for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2024 (KCET) has been made available by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in is where registered candidates for the Karnataka UGCET 2024 may get their hall tickets. The application number and birthdate of the candidate are required in order to access the KCET login portal.
However, according to the most recent updates, the KEA has established a new regulation that permits admit cards to be withheld from applicants who only wish to take NEET UG 2024 in KCET 2024. Nonetheless, they are still eligible for seat allocation in medical, dental, and Ayush courses via NEET 2024.
In another official notice issued on April 8, KEA allows applicants to change exam centres from Kolar to Kalaburagi in response to multiple requests. It has also begun data collecting from applicants who incorrectly changed their centre during KCET 2024 form correction.
Change in KCET 2024 Exam Centre
Candidates must submit applications for a centre change to their pre-university college principal, along with a legitimate justification. The candidate’s name, application number, CET application number, and a copy of their KCET admit card should all be included in the application. The list of these applicants must be sent as an email by principals to KEA at keauthority-ka@nic.in.
Submissions are accepted by KEA through April 12 by 5 pm. Notably, per KEA guidelines, personal email submissions and requests from candidates studying in Kalaburgi in Jewargi, Bidar, and Yadgir will not be accepted.
To simplify admissions into a variety of professional courses, including engineering, pharmacy, Pharma D, and others, universities and institutions throughout Karnataka administer the Karnataka CET Exam, as a state-level entrance exam.
The KCET 2024 exam will be administered on April 18 and 19. The UGCET will be held at 54 examination centres distributed across 29 districts in Karnataka by the KEA. Bangalore has been assigned as the exam city for candidates who submitted their applications within the allotted period. The exam is expected to attract around 2.5 lakh students. On April 20, the Kannada language exam will take place, and on May 20, the KCET results will be made public.
