The Income Tax Department’s Rajasthan office is offering job opportunities for skilled athletes, with 55 vacancies available across different positions. The recruitment drive started on December 12 and aims to fill roles including Income Tax Inspector, Tax Assistant, Stenographer, and Multi-Tasking Staff. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aiming for the role of Income Tax Inspector need a graduate degree, while those aspiring to be Tax Assistants must have a graduate degree with typing proficiency. Stenographer Grade II requires a minimum qualification of a 12th pass, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) mandates a minimum of a 10th pass.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for Income Tax Inspectors is set at 18 years. Meanwhile, the maximum age limit to apply for the post of Tax Assistant post is 30 years and Stenographer Grade II is 27 years. Meanwhile, the maximum age limit to apply for the post of Tax Assistant post is 30 years and Stenographer Grade II is 27 years. Age relaxation will be imposed as per government guidelines.
Salary
The income Tax Inspector position offers a salary range of Rs 44,900 to Rs 142,400 (Pay Level-7), Tax Assistant position ranges from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 (Pay Level-4), Stenographer Grade-II falls under Pay Level-4 with a salary range of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) position has a salary range of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 (Pay Level-1).
Merit List and Assessments:
In sports/games recruitment, the merit list will be determined by candidates’ total marks out of 100, requiring a minimum of 40 marks for eligibility. Candidates applying for Tax Assistant and Stenographer Grade-II positions must successfully pass the mandatory Data Entry Skill Test and Stenography Test.
Trial Assessment (30 marks): Candidates will face a 30-mark trial in their chosen sport. Their performance will be overseen by a committee with at least two NIS-qualified coaches and a distinguished player not affiliated with the Income Tax Department.
