IIT JEE Advanced result 2023: IIT-JEE Advanced result was announced on Sunday. The link to check result is active on jeeadv.ac.in. Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy of IIT Hyderabad zone topped the IIT JEE exam. He secured 341 marks out of 360 in the examination.

In the exam, a total of 180372 candidates gave both the papers, ie papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2023. Out of the total candidates, 43773 candidates qualified the exam. Number of female candidates who cleared the exam stood at 7,509. Out of the female candidates IIT Hyderabad zone’s Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree topped the exam with CRL 56. She scored 298 marks out of 360 marks.

Other than toppers, IIT Hyderabad zone also stood out among other zones in terms of giving maximum number of qualifiers of the IIT-JEE Advanced 2023 exam. 10432 students from IIT Hyderabad zone qualified the exam. 7957 students of IIT Mumbai zone cleared the exam. Number of students qualifying the exam was 9290 for IIT Delhi zone, 2395 for IIT Guwahati zone, 4582 for IIT Kanpur zone, 4618 for IIT Kharagpur zone, and 4499 for IIT Roorkee zone.

A total of 13828 students of General category cleared the exam, 9029 students of OBC-NCL category cleared the exam, 5363 students of General-EWS category cleared the exam, 10993 students of SC category cleared the exam, 4081 students of ST category cleared the exam  this year.

Out of the top ten scorers of the exam seven students come from IIT Hyderabad zone. Rest re from IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi.

How is the IIT-JEE Advanced rank list prepared?

To prepare the list, aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. They have to obtain the minimum subject-wise marks as well as the aggregate qualifying markes to be included in a rank list.

Minimum aggregate marks is 360 including both, Paper 1 and Paper 2

Maximum marks in Physics is 120

Maximum marks in Chemistry is 120 

Maximum marks in Maths is 120.
