The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducted the Class 12 annual examinations for Arts, Commerce and Science streams from March 11 to March 26. To access their results, students who appeared for the exams can visit the official website – gseb.org. It will be declared today, May 9 at 9 am. Upon result declaration, students will be prompted to enter their six-digit seat numbers to view their GSEB Class 12 result 2024. They can also check the result via SMS.
GSEB HSC Passing Marks
To pass the Gujarat Class 12th examinations, students need to score at least 33 out of 100 in each subject. This benchmark is important as it signifies that students have adequately understood the subject material, paving the way for their academic or professional advancement.
How to Check GSEB 12th Result 2024?
Step 1: Go to the official website of GSEB i.e., gseb.org.
Step 2: Find and click on the link that says, “GSEB HSC Results 2024.”
Step 3: Fill in all the required information including your roll number in the given fields.
Step 4: Once you’re done, click on submit.
Step 5: The result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and keep a printout of the same for future reference.
GSEB 12th Result 2024: Re-evaluation
If students are not satisfied with the marks, GSEB provides the option for revaluation or rechecking of answer sheets. This process aims to guarantee that all answers are assessed accurately and total marks are calculated correctly. To initiate the process of revaluation or rechecking, students need to:
Step 1: Visit the GSEB website shortly after the results are announced.
Step 2: Then, fill in the revaluation/rechecking form and pay a nominal fee.
Step 3: Submit the form within the specified deadline.
Notably, if a student fails in one or more subjects, they have the option to take a re-exam, which can save their academic year.
Last year, a total of 4,77,392 students participated in the Arts & Commerce exam with 3,49,792 successfully passing. Meanwhile, in the Science stream, out of 1,10,042 candidates, 72,166 achieved success. The overall pass percentage was 73.27% for Arts & Commerce stream and 65.58% for Science.
