The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the class 12 or HSSC exam results 2024. Students who appeared for the examinations can check their scores on the official websites at gbshse.in and results.gsbshsegoa.net. The Goa HSSC 2024 examinations took place between February 28 to March 18. The results for Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational courses were announced at 4.30 pm at a press conference conducted by the Board at the Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Directorate of Education, Porvorim Goa on April 21.

As per the official notice, a total of 85% or 14884 of the 17511 students who took the exam qualified. While 4156 students were from the arts stream, 5194 from commerce, 5736 from science, and 2425 from the vocational stream. The pass percentage among boys is 81.59% and among girls, it is 88.06%. While 2725 students have been placed in the improvement exam category.

Bardez is the top-performing district with a 90.90% pass percentage followed by Sanguem with 89.73% and Salcette with 88.09% of the students passing the exam. The lowest-performing district is Dharbandora with a 63.44% pass percentage.

The exam was conducted across 20 centres. The consolidated result sheet will be available for download from April 23, 4:30 PM onwards at sevice1.gsbshse.in.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at gbshse.in.

Step 2: Locate and select the “Goa HSSC Result 2024” link from the main screen.

Step 3: Enter your seat number and the captcha code in the designated fields. Then, click on the “submit” button.

Step 4: The HSSC Goa Board Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: You can download and take a printout of the result for future reference.

GOA HSSC CLASS 12 RESULTS 2024: HOW TO CHECK VIA SMS?

Step 1: Start your phone’s messaging app.

Step 2: Type GOA12SEAT NUMBER in the message body.

Step 3: Send the message to any of the following numbers: 56263, 58888, or 5676750.

Step 4: If the numbers aren’t responding, send a message with GB12SEAT NUMBER to 54242 to check your result.

Step 5: Wait for a few seconds to receive a response from the board.

GOA HSSC CLASS 12 RESULTS 2024: Decline in Pass Percentage

In 2023, the overall pass percentage stood at 95.46 per cent. In 2022, the overall pass percentage for the Goa board HSSC exam was 92.66 per cent. In 2021, it was 99.40%, 89.27% in 2020 and 89.59% in 2019. Girls outperformed boys last year too with 95.03 per cent boys and 95.88 per cent girls clearing the exam.
