Famous for his daily 100 km rides, Bengaluru-based cyclist Anil Kadsur passed away on Friday morning due to a heart attack. The 45-year-old cyclist who was an inspiration for many cycling enthusiasts across the world was known for his daily 100 km rides.

He recently celebrated a milestone for completing 42 months of 100 km rides standing at a total number of about 1,250 rides.

According to a Times of India report, he was hospitalized due to a feeling of uneasiness on the very day he shared his achievement on social media.

Kadsur had earned a title of ‘Dronacharya’ for many cycling ‘Eklavyas’. He was also an inspiration to many for his humble and supportive nature as he would always share his tips with newcomers.

The cyclist started his journey in August 2022 when he did a 100 km challenge over 10 days. He did not stop there and continued making 100 km his daily routine with utmost discipline, while soon becoming an inspiration for people across the nation.

As per a TOI report, he had also beaten the record of an Italian cyclist who had completed 643 rides.
