New Delhi (India), April 12: Strategic empowerment of rural women through the connection of 10 crore women with self-help groups by 2024 is the vision of Union Minister for Rural Development – Shri Giriraj Singh. Comparing women self-help groups to MSMEs (micro, small & medium enterprises), the minister claimed that women are healthier creditors, will always repay and will play a big role in shaping India’s economy further.

This vision and other important aspects of the same were discussed by the Hon’ble Minister with Amitabh Shah – Founder of NGO Yuva Unstoppable. Focusing on women’s empowerment through the lens of literacy, education, health and economic livelihood all lead to the overall empowerment of women, a task taken up by his Ministry. Amitabh Shah shared the story of Yuva Unstoppable’s scholarship program with the Minister and his leadership team. The program focuses on providing an education grant to girls from needy backgrounds with the main aim of empowering them to pursue their career goals and aspirations.

Support and development of youth from difficult circumstances brought forth the dynamic journey of Amitabh Shah, who started Yuva Unstoppable. An NGO dedicated to providing opportunities and resources for youth to encourage them to become successful and contributing citizens of India. Yuva Unstoppable’s programs support these future leaders through various development programs spread across 14 states that focus on their education & literacy, providing them access to smart classrooms & technology and provision of education scholarships ensuring a reduction in dropouts.

As the discussions went on further, the Hon’ble Minister praised Yuvan Unstoppable’s commitment and dedication towards women’s empowerment and claimed his support towards this cause.
