The registration window for undergraduate admissions at Delhi University (DU) under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023 is open with the institute, and the university has already received an overwhelming response with over 2 lakh registrations recorded as of Wednesday, reported ANI.

Official data reveals that a total of 2,18,355 candidates have registered on the CSAS portal, out of which 1,54,645 candidates have successfully submitted the CSAS DU application form 2023, while 63,710 candidates have not completed the submission process.

The CSAS portal was launched on June 14, marking the beginning of the admission process on June 15, 2023. To access the CSAS application portal, candidates need to log in using their registered Central University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG)-2023 application number. 

The admission process will be based on the CUET scores 2023 and other eligibility criteria set by the university. Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG)was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

In the registration process on the CSAS portal, candidates are required to fill in their preferred choices of colleges and programs for seat allocation. The allocation of seats will be done through the CSAS portal, taking into account several factors including CUET UG scores, the combination of college and program chosen, the candidate’s position on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and the availability of seats.

Candidates who are seeking admission through the Sports and Extracurricular Activities (ECA) category need to appear for a performance test along with the CUET. 

The selection of candidates in this category will be based on a combined score of 25 percent from the CUET and 75 percent from the performance test. Certificates and achievements in sports and extracurricular activities will be considered along with the CUET score.
