The medical tests will also determine if the boy is a minor, said police. The people accused of the crime filed a counter-case against the boy alleging that he had sexually harassed a girl of their family. Police confirmed that an FIR against the boy had been lodged under section 354 (outraging modesty) of IPC.
The assailants allegedly asked the father not to report the matter to police. He alleged that Sujanganj police refused to take down his complaint on Thursday evening, prompting him to contact the Jaunpur SP the next day.
