Covid-19: Mumbai logs 10 new cases

On Wednesday, Mumbai reported 10 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall tally of infections to 1,164,108, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said in a health bulletin.
The data also revealed that city reported one death due to Covid-19 on August 9.
Presently, the city now has 47 active Covid-19 cases.
According to data, Mumbai`s overall growth rate of cases between August 2 and August 8 is 0.0007 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.
So far, 189,17,951 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the city, including 292 samples taken in the past 24 hours.
The caseload doubling time is 144,712 days, as per civic data.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 14 new cases and zero death.
