The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to call off the recruitment drive for Assistant Secretary (Training) positions in the subjects of Design and Multimedia, and Mass Communication due to a low number of applications. The recruitment initiative was to fill a number of administrative positions classified under Groups A, B and C, via offline mode of exams. The application fee of the candidates will be refunded to their bank account.

The official notice read, “Further, in view of very less number of applications for the posts of Assistant Secretary (Training) in the subjects of Design and Multimedia & Mass Communication, the recruitment process for the above two subjects of these posts stands cancelled. The fee paid by the candidates against applications received for these posts, if any, shall be refunded to their bank account through which they have paid the fee.”

Apart from this, CBSE has released the schedule of examinations for recruitment to other posts.

The exam date for Junior Translation Officer is August 3 and will be held in the afternoon shift, meanwhile, the exam for Junior Translation Officer is scheduled for August 10 and will be held in the morning shift. Account Officer examination will be held on August 10 in the afternoon shift and the Assistant Secretary (Administration) will be on August 11. The examination will be held in the morning shift. Junior Engineer and Accountant’s exam date is August 11which will be held in the morning shift.
