CBSE Board Exams 2024 LOC form filing for classes 10, 12 last date today. Schools can also submit the LOC between September 29 to October 5 with a late fee

The last date to submit the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) list of candidates (LOC) for classes 10 and 12 is today, September 28. The registration process which began on August 18 was earlier scheduled to conclude on September 18 but later extended till today. The CBSE has informed us that there will be no further extension of the LOC form-filling date.

Schools can also submit the LOC between September 29 to October 5 with a late fee. Schools are required to handle direct admissions separately for classes 10 and 12, referring pertinent instances to the relevant regional office. CBSE has also directed schools to compile a list of requests for subject changes made by students and send it to the regional office. The classes 10, and 12 board exams 2024 will be held from February 15.

Schools have been instructed to gather attendance data for classes 10 and 12 till January 1 and submit the same by January 5. Any deficiencies will be brought to the attention of the schools by January 15, they will then have until January 20 to make the necessary corrections.

Besides, the board had earlier shared a detailed schedule for classes 10 and 12 including admissions, subject change, attendance, and list of candidates, which was titled, “Framework and Significant Guidelines in The Context of the Secondary and Senior Secondary Certificate Examination for Guidance of the Schools.”

CBSE has also begun the registration of the candidates for classes 9 and 11, who are set to appear in the board exams in 2025. “As submission of the registration data by adhering to the schedule is very important, the schools are therefore requested to plan timely submission of data of the candidates,” read the official notice. Candidates whose names will be submitted via the online process of submission of registration data will be allowed to sit for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the academic session 2024-25.
