Three bike-borne people died in a road accident near Charoti in the Palghar district on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway on Tuesday. Their bike was hit by a speeding container vehicle on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway.

The accident took place near the Asian petrol pump in Charoti. They were heading towards Mumbai when the bike got hit by a speeding container vehicle.

All three persons died on the spot.

Kasa police are investigating the matter on the spot. Further details awaited.
