AP Intermediate 1st, 2nd Year Results 2024: As per the marking scheme set by the board, students need to score at least 35 per cent in both theory and practical examinations to clear the exam

The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) will announce the AP inter 1st and 2nd year results 2024 today, April 12. Students who took the AP Inter examination this year can check their results on the official website of BIEAP at bie.ap.gov.in, once out. Candidates can view their mark sheet by entering their roll number and date of birth.

AP Intermediate 1st, 2nd Year Results 2024: Passing Marks

As per the marking scheme set by the board, students need to score at least 35 per cent in both theory and practical examinations to clear the exam. Students who fail to secure the minimum passing marks will have to appear for the supplementary exam to clear the board exam.

AP Intermediate 1st, 2nd Year Results 2024: How to download?

Step 1: Students must go to the official website of the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh at bieap.apcfss.in.

Step 2: Click on the tab that reads: ‘AP IPE results 2024’ at the top of the website’s homepage.

Step 3: Then, click on 2nd-year results and candidates will be redirected to a login window.

Step 4: Enter the hall ticket number and date of birth in the login window.

Step 5: Post this, tap on get the result and the AP Inter Class 12 mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Save a copy of the same and print a hard copy for future reference.

The pass percentage for the Intermediate 2nd year examination has varied over the years. In 2023, it stood at 72 per cent, with a total of 3,79,760 candidates taking the exam. However, the pass rate was slightly lower in 2022, at 61 per cent. In 2021, an impressive 100 per cent pass rate was achieved by 5,08,672 candidates. In 2020, the pass percentage was 63 per cent, with 4,35,655 candidates appearing for the exam. In 2019, a pass percentage of 72 per cent was recorded, while in 2018, 73.30 per cent of 5,16,103 candidates passed, followed by 74 per cent of 4,93,891 candidates in 2017.
