Alia Bhatt’s sartorial choices have always been impeccable, she loves to stick to simple yet stunning ensembles while at the same time also experimenting in her own way. Whether the actress is gracing the red carpet or is just spotted out and about in the city, she is always on point and she truly never misses on serving a perfectly fashionable look. It is wise to say that her fashion picks just like her movies are always a hit and audiences love it.
Recently, Alia attended the Hope Gala 2024 in London and her choice of outfit for the prestigious event in one word can be described as ‘remarkable.’ Fashion enthusiasts and critics are in love with the saree she wore and very rightly so. In case, you have missed out on her look, check it out here-
The global star looked breathtaking as she made jaws drop in a 30-year-old vintage couture Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla couture saree. Alia looked stellar draped in this sheer six yards of elegance. The designer duo took to Instagram to share a little backstory on the saree. They wrote, “Handmade in 1994 – 30 years ago, with meticulous craftsmanship spread over 3500 hours, the ivory floral Resham saree is a timeless work of art that has silk threads embroidered in different stitches to inspire a fabulous sense of dimension in the fabric.”
Styled by Ami Patel, the incredible saree was paired with a gorgeous halter neck tulle blouse that had been crafted especially for Alia. The intricate silver zari work on the blouse along with the crystals on it elevated it to a whole other dimension and also went seamlessly well with the saree. Talking about the blouse the designers mentioned, “An ode to the luxury of Resham, the dazzle of crystals, the decadence of Zari and the regal charm of pearls, the masterpiece represents the quintessential maximalism of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.”
Alia did the absolute right thing by not accessorising the look way too much, the pair of emerald earrings from Heeramaneck & Son did justice to the look. And even though the saree was a showstopper in itself, the pair of earrings certainly does deserve a special mention of its own.
The actress has always been a fan of minimalistic makeup looks and this time too, she completely aced one. Rouged cheeks, structured eyebrows, a soft nude-pink eye makeup look and a nude pink lip shade are all it took and the result was definitely impeccable. International hairstylist Daya Ruci hit it out of the park with the hairdo, it was the epitome of easy-breezy and all things fine.
