UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2023 results declared on upsc.gov.in; 14,624 qualify for Main exam
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services Preliminary exams 2023. Candidates who appeared for the Civil service exams can check their results on the official website of the UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in .
The Preliminary exams were conducted on 28 May. The UPSE has listed a pdf of the candidates provisionally selected for the UPSC Mains exams. A total of 14,624 candidates have been provisionally qualified for the UPSE Mains exam.
The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the Commission, UPSE said in its notification.
Apart from this, UPSC has also listed roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023. A total of 1,958 candidates have been qualified for Indian Forest Services Main exams.
As per the official notification, “Marks, cut off marks and answer keys of CS (P) Examination, 2023 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2023 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result.”
Meanwhile, UPSC offered option to candidates in Imphal centre to change their exam centre in view of the violence in the state. The Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Examination, 2023, is scheduled to be held on 2 July. The Centre change option will be available to the candidates of Imphal Centre through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility. It said that a message in this regard will be sent to each candidate on his/her registered mobile number with the Commission. The candidates must use their said registered Mobile Number to avail this facility through IVRS. Moreover, the option of a change of Centres for such candidates will also be available till 5:00 pm on 12th June 2023.
