The Central Railway will operate mega block on its both main line and harbour line on Sunday. The block will be between Thane and Kalyan on both up and down lines. While, on harbour line, the block will be between CSMT and Chunabhatti/Bandra, and between Vashi and Panvel, both up and down lines, including suspension of train services. 

Central Railway mega block

For main line, mega block between Thane and Kalyan on Fast line, both up and down directions will be held from 10.40 am to 3.40 pm. 

While, Fast trains departing CSMT from 09.30 am to 2.45 pm will be diverted on Slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations, halting at Kalva, Mumbra and Diva stations in addition to their respective halts. The trains will arrive at destinations 10 minutes later than their scheduled arrival, said central railway
 
Fast/Semi-fast services departing Kalyan from 10.28 am to 03.25 pm will be diverted on Up Slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations, halting at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations in addition to their respective halts. The trains will be further re-diverted on Fast line at Mulund station and will arrive at destinations 10 minutes later than their scheduled arrival.
 
Mail/Express trains departing CSMT/Dadar will be diverted on 5th line between Thane and Kalyan stations. While, Mail/Express trains arriving CSMT/Dadar will be diverted on 6th line between Kalyan and Thane/ Vikhroli stations, central railway has informed. 

Harbour line block

On harbour line, the mega block for trains leaving CSMT for Chunabhatti/Bandra will be carried from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm, and block for trains leaving from Chunabhatti/Bandra to CSMT will be carried from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm.

While, Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel departing CSMT from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm and Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving CSMT from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.

Harbour line services for CSMT departing Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Harbour line services for CSMT departing Goregaon/Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm will also remain suspended.
 
However, special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) at a frequency of 20 minutes during the block period, informed central railway
 
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line (central line) and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period. The block is been carried out for engineering and maintenance work, central railway said. 

Meanwhile, Western Railway will carry out night block between Vasai and Bhayandar on Sunday.
