President Murmu, French President Macron depart from Kartavya Path after conclusion of parade
India is getting ready for the historic Republic Day festivities, which will take place today. The country’s rich cultural legacy and military power will be on display at the beautiful ‘Kartavya Path’ in the capital.
Following the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations to mark 75 years of the nation’s independence, President Droupadi Murmu will lead the nation in the big celebrations of Amrit Kaal.
The 90-minute parade, which will be attended by French President Emmanuel Macron as Chief Guest, will centre around three main themes: the expanding Nari Shakti, the rich cultural variety of Viksit Bharat, and the military power of “Aatmanirbhar.”
A troop of Tri-Service women walking along the Kartavya Path for the first time ever. During the Indian Air Force’s fly-past, female pilots will also captivate the crowd as they represent Nari Shakti, or women’s power.
Only female personnel will make up the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) contingents.
More than a hundred female musicians playing Indian musical instruments will lead the procession. These female musicians would open the march with songs from Sankh, Naadswaram, Nagada, etc.
