The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an important notification regarding the rescheduling of Tier 2 for the Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Delhi Police and CAPFs Exam 2023. According to the announcement, the Tier 2 examination for the Sub-Inspector position in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Exam 2023 has been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. The SSC CPO Tier 2 exam, originally slated for December 12, will now take place on January 8, 2024. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the SSC’s official website at ssc.nic.in.

“Due to unavoidable circumstances, Tier-II of the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2023 has been re-scheduled to be held on 08.01.2024, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 22.12.2023. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular Intervals for further updates,” read the official SSC notification.

SSC SI Tier 2: Exam Pattern

The Tier 2 exam comprises Paper 2, which focuses on the English language and comprehension. The question paper consists of 200 questions, carrying a maximum of 200 marks, with candidates having two hours to complete the exam. The objective is to assess candidates’ proficiency in the English language and their comprehension of written content. Based on performance in Tier 2, candidates will be selected for the medical examination.

On October 25, the commission announced the results for Tier 1 of the Sub-Inspector Post in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces recruitment. The Tier 1 exam took place from October 3 to 6. Shortlisted candidates participated in the PET PST exam 2023 from November 14 at various exam centers. Only those who qualified in the PST/PET are eligible for Tier 2.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,876 vacancies for the positions of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF. The selection process involves overall performance evaluation in Paper I, PET/PST, Paper II, and Medical Examination.
