From Waiter at 11 to Millionaire Father: Rrahul Tanejaa Gifts Son ₹3 Crore Audi with ₹31 Lakh VIP Number Plate
The inspiring journey of a man who turned struggle into style and passion into purpose.
Known for his fascination with luxury cars and exclusive VIP number plates, Jaipur-based millionaire Rrahul Tanejaa has once again made headlines. The businessman, who once worked as a waiter at the age of 11, has now bought India’s most expensive VIP car number — RJ 60 CM 0001 — for ₹31 lakh from the Jaipur RTO. The number will grace his son’s brand-new Audi RS Q8 worth ₹3 crore.
Back in 2018, Rrahul paid ₹16 lakh for the registration number RJ 45 CG 0001 for his Jaguar XJL, which at the time was the costliest in Rajasthan. His obsession began even earlier — in 2011, when he spent ₹10 lakh in an auction for RJ 14 CP 0001 for his BMW 7 Series.
A Father’s Promise Kept
This record-breaking purchase isn’t just about luxury or numbers — it’s about love and promises. Seven years ago, Rrahul had told his then 11-year-old son Rehaan that on his 18th birthday, he would gift him a car of his choice if life allowed. On November 16, as Rehaan turns 18, that promise will come true — in grand style.
“I live in the present,” says Rrahul. “Seeing my son happy brings me the greatest joy. His happiness lies in cars and their number plates. If I can afford it, why shouldn’t I do it?”
He continues, “Life is unpredictable. We make plans for tomorrow, but no one knows what it holds. Today, I’m alive and able to make my son smile — that’s what matters. Who knows, kal ho na ho.”
From a Roadside Dhaba to Royal Weddings
The Remarkable Rise of Rrahul Tanejaa
Born in Katra, a small village near Mandla district, Madhya Pradesh, Rrahul’s early life was far from glamorous. His father repaired bicycle punctures, and his mother worked in the fields to support the family.
At just 11 years old, Rrahul began working as a waiter at a small dhaba in Jaipur’s Adarsh Nagar near Barfkhana Chauraha. For two years, he served food and tea to strangers, dreaming of a better life. From age 13 to 18, he juggled odd jobs — selling firecrackers during Diwali, colours during Holi, kites on Makar Sankranti, rakhis during Raksha Bandhan, and even comics during the summer. He delivered newspapers, worked with courier and to-let services, and between 9 PM to midnight, drove an auto-rickshaw at Durgapura Railway Station.
At 19, he opened his first small business — a used-car showroom named “Car Palace” in Sindhi Colony, Jaipur. Around the same time, in 1999, he entered the world of fashion shows and modelling, winning titles like Mr Jaipur, Mr Rajasthan, and Male of the Year.
At 20, he founded his first event management firm, Live Creations, and by 25, expanded to Mumbai with Indian-Artist.com, an artist management company. By 30, he launched Rrahul Tanejaa Premium Weddings, catering to royal and luxury weddings. By 2015, he was counted among India’s top wedding planners — a self-made name, built from scratch.
The Man, The Father, The Dreamer
Today, Rrahul Tanejaa stands as a successful businessman, event manager, father, and a man who turned every obstacle into opportunity. From serving customers at a dhaba to serving luxury dreams at grand Indian weddings, his story is a true reflection of resilience and ambition.
From the front seat of an auto-rickshaw to the backseat of a luxury Audi — his journey proves that dreams, no matter where they start, can drive you anywhere.
