● Dairy units, involved in procurement/collection/handling/chilling of milk, having a capacity of not more than 500 liters per day, or up to 2.5 Metric tons of milk solids annually.
● Installations for the production or processing of vegetable oil by the solvent extraction process and refineries including oil expeller systems. With a capacity of not more than 100 kg/liter per day (excluding milk or meat).
State FSSAI License:
An organization with more than 12 Lakh of turnover and not exceeding 20 crores needs to apply for a state license.
Organisations eligible for a state license
● Turnover above 12 lakhs
● Proprietary food such as energy drinks, flavoured and coloured food
● Hotels with 4-star rating
● All food processing plants, including repackaging plants, with a daily capacity of at least 100 kg/liter up to 2 metric tonnes.
Central FSSAI License:
● FBOs like restaurants, retailers, distributors, and suppliers with an annual turnover of more than Rs. 20 crores.
● Exporters and importers of food products
● The FBOs having more than one branch of restaurants or food joints are required to apply for a Central Food License.
● FBOs operating in 2 or more states must apply for a central license for their registered headquarters
● Plants for production and processing of vegetable oil by the method of solvent extraction and factories, including oil expeller plants, with a capacity of more than 2 metric tonnes per day.
● Warehouses with a capacity of more than 50,000 metric tonnes
● All food processing plants, including repackaging plants and excluding mills for grains, pulses, and cereals with a capacity of more than 2 metric tonnes per day.
FSSAI Registration/ Certificate Process:

Step 2: Fill in the following details:
● Name of Applicant
● Email ID
● Mobile Number
● Name of Business/Firm/Company
● Select Food Category
● Select Kind of Business
● Select Turnover or Production Capacity
● Enter the Complete Business Address along with the pin code, state, and district
● Upload PAN Card
● Click on the submit button.
Step 3: Make payment for your food license application.
Step 4: Duly check the details provided by you above.
Step 5: After successful payment and form submission, one of our executives will contact you for further process.
Step 6: You will receive the FSSAI certificate with a 14-digit FSSAI license number on your registered email.
