According to reports, a reputed university in the United Kingdom is offering a scholarship to engineering students from India, Thailand, and Malaysia to complete their master’s at the university.

As per reports, the name of the institution is the University of Strathclyde, which is located in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. The university has announced to give scholarships worth £10,000 (Rs 10.51 lakh) to students doing post-graduation engineering from India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Reportedly, this scholarship is a part of the Great Scholarship Programme jointly launched by the British Council and 49 universities in the UK. It has been found that this scholarship will help international students complete their postgraduate studies in the field of engineering in the UK.

As per the information, a scholarship of at least £10,000 (Rs 10 lakh) will be provided to students doing postgraduation in engineering. To be eligible for the scholarship, students will have to be admitted to the one-year master’s programme. Apart from that, students interested in the scholarship must also have a valid passport from their country. Students who are interested in applying for the scholarship can fill out the application form and submit it by May 3.

As per the notification given by the university, the fields that are eligible for the scholarship are biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, design manufacturing and engineering management, electronic and electrical engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, naval architecture, ocean and marine engineering, aeronautical engineering, etc.
