Ahead of the Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination (CCE Prelims) 2024, the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) released the admit card for the registered candidates on March 12. However, with only two days for the examination on March 17, some of the registered candidates have been facing major issues in downloading their respective admit cards from the website.

The concern has been raised after some of the candidates who applied for correction on their application form JPSC were not able to download the admit cards from the website.

While talking to Local18, the director of Administration Coaching, Dr Anil Mishra said that this time the candidates were also facing major trouble while filing the applications. According to Dr Mishra, the major issue can be the unscheduled calendar. He said that on January 27, JPSC issued the notification and opened the registration window from February 1.

Due to the server being down, several candidates faced issues in filing their applications during that time. Therefore, a relaxation of three days was given by the commission. He added that the examination is being conducted in a hurry which is creating trouble.

The examination will be held on March 17 and will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will have a written test on General Studies (Paper 1) starting from 10 AM to 12 PM. The second shift will be testing General Studies (Paper 2) between 2 PM to 4 PM on the same day. The prelims examination will consist of two papers with a total of 200 marks. As per the marking scheme, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

As per the official website, the candidates are requested to carry their respective admit cards, valid ID proof, and a self-attested passport-size colour photograph while appearing for the examination.

Enter all the required details.

Review the details and click ‘Submit’.

On displaying the admit card, download and keep a hard copy of it for future reference.
