The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Monday issued a fresh notification to fill 563 Group-1 vacant posts. The applications for the posts will begin on February 23 and end on March 14. Candidates have to fill out the forms through the official website, tspsc.gov.in.

TSPSC will likely conduct the prelims in the month of May or June, while the mains examination will be conducted between September or October. The government cancelled the notification issued by the previous government led by BRS. Earlier, the BRS government announced 503 vacant positions.

However, the Group-1 prelims test was cancelled twice on the grounds of a paper leak and failure to follow the rules and regulations. TSPSC secretary Dr. Navin Nicholas said that the commission discussed various problems pertaining to the earlier notification. “After taking consideration of all aspects and given public interest the commission has decided to cancel the notification”, the secretary said.

Candidates who have applied earlier for Group-1 vacant posts based on the notification issued by the previous government have to re-apply to appear for the examinations, read the TSPSC notification.
