Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde asks Shiv Sena ministers to hold `Janata Darbars`
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Friday told the nine ministers of his cabinet to hold Janata Darbar at Shiv Sena Balasaheb Bhavan for five days a week to resolve all the issues of the people.
A party statement said CM Shinde, at a meeting, asked his nine ministers to hold `Janata Darbar` (people`s court) at Shiv Sena Balasaheb Bhavan in south Mumbai five days a week and resolve all issues and problems of common citizens whether they are related to agriculture, or village/taluka level matters or any ministry related work.
Of the nine Sena cabinet ministers, Dada Bhuse and Uday Samant will hold `Janata Darbar` on Monday, Shambhuraj Desai and Sandipan Bhumre on Tuesday, Deepak Kesarkar and Tanaji Sawant on Wednesday, Abdul Sattar and Gulabrao Patil on Thursday and Sanjay Rathod on Friday, said the statement.
Maharashtra Minister Abdul Sattar said, “The Chief Minister has ordered our nine ministers to solve the issues and problems of the people who bring their problems at Shiv Sena Balasaheb Bhavan.”
“CM Eknath Shinde asked nine ministers to solve the issues and problems of the people, whether they are workers, farm laborers, farmers, district heads, taluka heads, people of any caste and religion, through Janata Darbar. 80 per cent socialism and 20 per cent politics was Shiv Sena chief late Balasaheb Thackeray`s method. CM Eknath Shinde has given the order to follow that method and work in the same manner and we have also started the work in that regard,” Sattar added.
Earlier today, Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde flagged off the vehicle transporting the statute of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to be installed in Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir.
