SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Date Announced; Check Details, Schedule
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam results were published on September 19.
As per the notice, the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam has been scheduled to be conducted from October 25 to 27.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the exam schedule for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) tier-2. As per the notice, the SSC CGL tier-2 exam has been scheduled to be conducted from October 25 to 27. Candidates appearing for the examination can visit the official website at ssc.nic.in for further information about the exam.
Earlier, the commission had released the results for the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination on September 19. Among all the applications for the positions of assistant audit officer and assistant accounts officer, 4,377 applicants were chosen whereas 3,123 candidates were selected for junior statistical officer and 3140 for statistical investigator. Meanwhile, 3140 candidates were chosen for other roles.
It must be noted that the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination consists of three papers. While Paper 1 is a must for all the positions, paper 2 will be administered to the candidates picked for the position of junior statistics officer (JSO). On the other hand, paper 3, is for the assistant audit officer and assistant accounts officer.
Needless to mention, the candidates who have passed the SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 exam will be allowed to appear for the Tier 2 exam which will be a descriptive test. The tier 2 examination will include four papers. These papers are – English Language and Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Computer Proficiency.
SSC CGL 2023
SSC CGL is a national-level exam to recruit candidates for various positions in Indian government departments and ministries. The official notification for the SSC CGL exam was released earlier this year on April 3 and the SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 examination was held from July 14 to July 27, at several exam centres across the nation.
As per the cut-off marks list of SSC CGL 2023, candidates of the unreserved category required a minimum of 30 per cent marks whereas others who belonged to OBC or EWS categories are required to score a minimum of 25 per cent. Meanwhile, for the rest categories, the minimum qualifying mark was 20 per cent.
