Bhaum Pradosh Vrat is observed today.

Worshipping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on this day helps remove all the negativity from one’s life.

Pradosh Vrat has great significance in the Hindu religion. On this day, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshipped, and devotees observe fast and offer prayers. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva helps in removing all the negativity from one’s life. This month, Pradosh Vrat is taking place on a Tuesday, and that’s the reason it is called Bhaum Pradosh Vrat. Pradosh Vrat usually falls twice a month, during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. This time it will be observed on the Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, that is today, September 12. According to Bhopal-based astrologer and Vastu advisor pandit Hitendra Kumar Sharma, the Vrat is important and auspicious. The Tithi started on September 11 at 11:52 pm and will end on September 13 at 02:21 am. The puja timing today is from 6:30 pm to 8:49 pm.

If devotees observe fasting with full devotion, then Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati will bless them with happiness, health, wealth, and prosperity and fulfil their wishes.
